Bioinformatics (master's programme)
Understanding data, deciphering molecules, modelling systems. On the master's programme in Bioinformatics, you will combine computer science, biology and mathematics to address questions in the fields of genomics, transcriptomics, structural and systems biology, as well as meta- and metabolomics. You will work with the latest algorithms, statistics and software projects – as part of national and international collaborations.
What is it about?
On the master's programme in Bioinformatics, you will first build up your fundamental knowledge of biology, computer science and mathematics, whilst specifically addressing any gaps in your knowledge. You will then study algorithmic bioinformatics, sequence and structural analysis, and statistical methods. As part of a software project, you will develop and implement solutions to bioinformatics problems. As your studies progress, you will deepen your knowledge in selected areas of bioinformatics and related disciplines.
