Tuition fee/Students' Union fee
While studying at the University of Vienna, you must pay the tuition/Students' Union fee each semester. The amount depends on your citizenship, duration of studies and on whether you are enrolled in a degree programme or non-degree programme.

What is the University Preparation Programme of the Vienna Universities (VWU)?
The University Preparation Programme of the Vienna Universities (VWU) is a preparatory programme. Students prepare for and take supplementary examinations there. The VWU is not part of the University of Vienna. You therefore do not apply directly to the VWU, but for a degree programme at the University of Vienna.
