Qualitative admission requirements (QZB)
The admission to a master programme is only possible, if you have completed an eligible degree programme in the same discipline. To be admitted to this master programme you also have to prove qualitative admission requirements (QZB) when submitting your application for admission. The QZB are binding and determine which knowledge and competencies you must have at the time you apply for admission to this master programme. QZB cannot be completed during the degree programme you have applied for (other than supplementary examinations). You can find detailed information about the required previous knowledge in the curriculum (only available in German).
German language proficiency at level A2
To be admitted to the multilingual master programme in Philosophy, you have to provide a proof of German language proficiency at level A2. You already have to upload this proof when you apply for admission to the degree programme.
English language proficiency at level B2
To be admitted to an English or multilingual master programme at the University of Vienna, you have to provide a proof of English language proficiency.
To apply for admission to this degree programme, you require a proof of English language proficiency at level B2.
