You are a first-time applicant at the University of Vienna?
In your own best interest: Please submit your application for admission at the beginning of the application period and finish the admission procedure as early as possible. You may only enrol in courses once your admission process is concluded. Please do not forget to book an appointment for online first-time admission!
You are already enrolled at the University of Vienna or were previously admitted?
Please apply for a change of degree programme, admission to additional degree programmes or the resumption of a degree programme at the beginning of the application period. An online appointment is not required.
You have a non-EU/EEA citizenship?
You may apply for admission to bachelor, master and diploma programmes without entrance exam procedure from 10 June 2024 till 31 July 2024.
Please submit your application as early as possible! This also applies if you would like to resume a degree programme or change your degree programme. The necessary steps in your application process may depend on the following:
- Type of degree programme (bachelor, master or diploma programme)
- Issuing country of your secondary-school leaving certificate (applies to bachelor and diploma programmes) and in which country you completed your previous degree (applies to master programmes), respectively
- Your citizenship
You may choose your desired degree programme on our website at “Admission”. There you will find all the details on your desired programme’s admission procedure. Please read all the required steps carefully and prepare the required documents in due time. That way you will be best prepared for commencing your studies at the University of Vienna.
