Evolutionary Anthropology: Human Evolution (Extension Curriculum)
The aim of the “Evolutionary Anthropology” extension curriculum is to provide students who are not studying biology or anthropology with knowledge in the areas of evolution, human biology and evolutionary anthropology.
Students acquire knowledge of the basics of evolution, especially human evolutionary biology, the basics of human biology, optionally social biology and biological gender research, as well as applied anthropology, from forensic and virtual anthropology to questions of research ethics and statistical methods.
The students can therefore use aspects of biological evolution, human biological research from anatomy and physiology to application-oriented aspects of evolutionary anthropology in their respective scientific disciplines and expand the knowledge acquired in the respective subject with a scientific approach.
