Austrian Studies – Cultures, Literatures, Languages (master's programme)
What is it about?
The aim of the master's programme in Austrian Studies – Cultures, Literatures, Languages is to provide you with an in-depth understanding of Austrian history, literature, language and culture within a European context.
You will develop a trained capacity for reflection regarding the formation of ideological myths, historical constructs of identity, and political and journalistic discourses on the 'national'.
In addition, you will acquire a basic comparative understanding of at least one Central or Eastern European language and culture, as well as practical skills relevant to a career in the field of cultural organisation.
