The application period for winter semester 2023/24 starts on 15 June.

You can apply for admission to master programmes without entrance exam procedure from 15 June onward.

You would like to be admitted to a degree programme at the University of Vienna for the first time? 
Apply for admission to the desired master programme without entrance exam procedure at the beginning of the application period. Wait for your admission letter. The review of your documents by the Admission Office takes several weeks. Only book an appointment for online first-time admission after you have received your admission letter. 

Are you currently studying at the University of Vienna, or did you study here in the past? 
Apply for a change of degree programme, admission to additional degree programmes or a resumption of studies at the beginning of the application period. No appointment is required.
