At the University of Vienna, entrance exam procedures are carried out for some degree programmes. The application period for bachelor/diploma programmes is open from 4 March to 5 June for the academic year 2024/25.

In general the entrance exam procedure takes place once per academic year and is valid for the following winter and summer semester. The entrance exam procedure for Teacher Education is valid indefinitely.
A participation in the entrance exam procedure is only possible if you have applied in time. You can apply even if you do not have your secondary-school leaving certificate yet.
You have to pay an administration fee of 50 Euro when you apply for admission.
