Business Informatics (Bachelor)
The bachelor’s programme in Business Informatics prepares students to deal with the organisation of operational and institutional information and decision-making structures. Business informatics uses business administration models and descriptions, as well as techniques and procedures from the area of computer science. The bachelor’s programme focuses on algorithmic modelling and an IT-specific approach to economic questions. Some courses are held in English. Business informatics deals with the utilisation, design and development of information and communication systems and their implementation in companies.

Please note that the instruction language of this programme is German. To start the degree programme, you need to hold a certificate of German proficiency on C1 level.
Study programme
The bachelor’s programme comprises four groups of compulsory modules: Computer Science, Mathematics, Business Informatics and Economics. By selecting core subjects, students can specialise in certain subject areas. Moreover, students have the opportunity to select electives to further specialise in a specific subject area or supplement their knowledge. To successfully complete the programme, students have to write two bachelor’s theses.
