The amount of the tuition fee does not depend on your citizenship. It depends on the reason for your admission as a non-degree student.

Attending individual courses
You can attend individual courses, if you
- want to start your studies despite receiving the Austrian secondary-school leaving certificate late ("Nachmatura")
- want to obtain the right to study without secondary-school leaving certificate ("Studienberechtigungsprüfung")
- want to attend individual courses out of interest without completing a degree programme
- want to make up for subject-specific supplementary examinations from the bachelor programme after your application for admission to a master programme was rejected
- want to make up for qualitative admission requirements (QZB) after your application for admission to a master programme was rejected
When attending individual courses, you have to pay the tuition fee, as well as the Students' Union fee each semester.
Attending the University Preparation Programme of the Vienna Universities (VWU)
As long as you attend the VWU, you have to pay the course fee of the VWU and the Students' Union fee each semester. Please contact the VWU directly for information regarding course fees and registration deadlines.
Nostrification
For a nostrification (= non-degree programme for the purpose of establishing equivalency) you have to pay the tuition fee as well as the Students' Union fee each semester.
