Remission of the tuition fee

Degree students with citizenship of an EU/EEA country or Switzerland or with equal status can, if they have an appropriate reason, apply for remission of the tuition fee during the respective period.

The tuition fee for winter semester 2022/23 is remitted automatically for all Ukrainian students who are admitted to a degree programme or a non-degree programme. You do not have to submit a separate application for remission.

  • Solely the listed reasons for remission can be accepted!
  • The Students' Union fee has to be paid in time even if your application for remission is accepted!

The processing of applications can take up to several weeks, so apply as soon as possible. You will be notified about the outcome of your application and possible further steps via e-mail to your u:account e-mail address.

Your current fee can be found in u:space > Financial matters > Tuition fee/Students' Union fee.
