Sample student space at Währinger Straße 29

As part of the overall Student Spaces project at the University of Vienna, a sample student space has been created at the Währinger Straße 29 location as an interim use.

Various furniture options are on display here and can be tested for functionality and comfort directly on site. 

On behalf of Vice-Rector Hautsch, we invite everyone to visit the sample student space.

Equipment and utilisation options:

„Project Zone"
The „Project Zone" is located in the lounge area on the ground floor, to the left of the entrance. The cosy sofas with tables and stools as well as lounge chairs with tables can be used here to discuss projects.

• Sofas and stools with tables for a total of 12 people
• Armchairs with tables for 8 people

„Lounge Zone"
The „Lounge Zone" is located in the lounge on the ground floor, to the right after the entrance. In this room you can refresh yourself and consume your drinks and food, among other things.

• A total of 8 seats with tables and a bar table are available.

Micromarket:

Our new self-service micromarket in the Student Space, Währinger Straße 29, is now open.

This is a new self-service concept that offers quick and easy access to fresh food and drinks during opening hours.
This project was initiated and supported by the RRM working group ‘Future Workshop’.
